November 2018 Favorites

Hi guys! Happy December!

I am so excited to finally be able to fully embrace the Christmas season, but I do have a few favorites from November that I want to share with you guys. These products/items are things that have really become staples in my life over the last month, so hopefully they are things you guys will enjoy as well.

1. Suja Probiotic Drink

I absolutely love these things. As you guys probably know, gut health is incredibly important and directly influences other aspects of your overall wellbeing. I am by no means a doctor or nutritionist, but I do believe that I personally feel better all around when my gut is happy. These Suja drinks are an easy and quick way to make sure you get a nice dose of some probiotics on a daily basis. On top of that, these specific drinks are super low in sugar, still have a great taste and are honestly packed with a lot of good, natural stuff to help fuel your body.

2. Target Fluffy Slippers

Ok so when I saw these in store I got so excited. You guys know that I love all things fluffy and soft, and these slippers are both of those things. For a great price point at $20, these slippers are cute, comfy and honestly look just like some of the higher end ones which can go for around $100. If you yourself aren’t in the market for some new bedroom shoes grab a pair of these and a nice candle, and boom you’ve got a fun and inexpensive Christmas gift that I know the receiver will love! (Shameless plug: for more fun gift ideas check out my first ever gift guide!!)

3. Headspace App

This fall season I have really tried to make it a priority to spend at least a few minutes a day focusing on myself and how I am feeling. I am a big advocate of keeping a journal, but I wanted to try other things out to see how I felt. After using the Headspace mobile app a few times ( which has a free version by the way!!) I knew that I had found a new favorite way to decompress and relax. I most often use the app for its meditation and sleep features. Before this I had never really tried any form of meditation, and I am by no means an expert, so don’t worry if that sounds a little intimidating to you. Honestly just having the app walk you through the steps of controlling your breathing and becoming more conscious of your inner most self can genuinely make you feel a lot better.

4. Microwavable Boom Chicka Pop

I am a huge popcorn fan. It’s an easy and healthy snack that can quiet both my salty and sweet tooth. Boom Chicka Pop is a great brand with fun flavors and packaging, and I am not ashamed to say that I often finish entire bags in one sitting… When I first tried the microwaveable version of the sweet kettle corn my love for this brand only grew stronger. The flavor is noticeable but not overpowering and the serving size makes me feel better about downing a whole bag while watching Netflix.

5. Levi 501 Skinny Jeans

I wrote in my five fall staples post about wanting to try different styles of jeans this year, and boy have I found a new favorite. I have worn the Levi 501 Skinny jeans in “Lovefool” pretty much nonstop once the temperature dropped below 70 degrees. I have styled them both up and down, they fit me perfectly, and are a great quality for the price point. If you are looking for a jean that fits a little loose and can be worn with sneakers or booties, these are the pair for you.

6. I. AM. GIA Pixie Coat in black

I finally took the plunge and ordered this coat earlier this fall because I had A. seen it everywhere and had been curious to try it and B. because I am definitely a cold natured person so I can never have too many warm coats in my arsenal. After wearing the coat for about a solid month now I can honestly say that it’s worth the hype. It’s not as soft as you might be thinking, which is something that threw me off at first, but it is so incredibly warm. Whenever I am going anywhere I just throw this on and instantly feel cozy and protected from the cold.

7. Peppermint Capri Blue Candle

Ok so technically this is a winter scent, but honestly I am the type of person who wouldn’t mind smelling fresh balsam all year round. So with that in mind, I figured since this particular scent actually isn’t fir tree I was totally justified in lighting it the first cold day of November. Capri Blue candles can be pricey, but honestly they are worth the splurge if you are looking for a candle that can put out enough smell to fill a room without overwhelming your senses.

8. Billie Eilish

I don’t have much to say here other than if you haven’t heard Billie Eilish’s music you are missing out. She has such a unique and cool tone that can really make you feel something when she’s singing. A good bit of her music is a little moody, fitting perfectly with the cold and rainy weather we have been having.

Let me know in the comments below if any of you guys have favorites from November or if you have tried any of mine out already!

always,
